Real estate transactions are governed by their signed contracts. It is important that you know and understand the document you are signing as either buyer or seller, landlord or tenant. Be sure all parts of the contract are accurate PRIOR to signing the contract. Once under contract, negotiating can prove much more difficult and often the stakes are higher, with deposit money already in escrow. It is beneficial to have your attorney review your contracts before you sign them.
