Estate planning is not set it and forget it! You need to review your estate planning documents yearly, if not more frequently. You cannot revise these documents once you are incapacitated. Florida laws changed in 2011 and 2015 regarding Durable Power of Attorney and Health Care Surrogate documents, so if your documents are older, you definitely need updated ones. Speak with your attorney for more information regarding updating your estate planning documents.
